🖥️ Graphic Design Fundamentals Logo Mockup
Students in @paisley_pen_creative ‘s 2025C Graphic Design Fundamentals class explored core design principles with a focus on Gestalt theory. Their assignment was to redesign a fictional logo for Santa Cruz Biotechnology, an unfamiliar industry that required research, visual problem solving and thoughtful application of design fundamentals.
An independent biotechnology expert reviewed the work and shared high praise:
“These design concepts are spot on. I can clearly see stylized representations of DNA and T‑shaped antibodies. The use of color is strategic and draws the eye without being gaudy. These designs feel competitive while remaining distinct.”
Do you agree with the expert? How do you think these students did?
